ISRO successfully launches Chandrayaan-3, India's third moon expedition :-ET July 14 2023

Chandrayaan-3, India’s third moon mission and its second attempt to make a soft lunar landing, took off successfully on July 14 at 2:35 pm aboard the Launch Vehicle Mark 3 (LVM 3) rocket from the second launchpad of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota.

At the end of the countdown, the LVM3-M4 rocket lifted off majestically at the prefixed time. The lift-off was normal and smooth, ISRO said. The stage separations were executed precisely as planned, it added.
About 16 minutes after lift-off, Chandrayaan-3 got separated from the rocket and it would orbit the earth for about 5-6 times in an elliptical cycle with 170 km closest and 36,500 km farthest from earth moving towards the lunar orbit.

ISRO announced the Chandrayaan-3 mission as accomplished after the satellite entered the orbit after an event-free flight. The 25.30-hour countdown for the lift off had commenced at 1.05 pm a day earlier.
This mission is an important part of ISRO's long-term plan as it eyes future inter-planetary odysseys.

More than 10,000 people from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka arrived at Sriharikota since early morning to watch the D-Day unfold. They were allowed to witness the launch from the dedicated space gallery set up by ISRO adjacent to the main entrance of the space centre.

ISRO said that it had conducted a review of the mission readiness ahead of the scheduled launch. The ‘Launch Rehearsal’ simulating the entire launch preparation and process was concluded earlier.

Chandrayaan-3 is equipped with a lander, a rover and a propulsion module. Its weight is about 3,900 kilograms.

Having flown 3.84 lakh km, the LVM 3 is scheduled for a lunar touchdown on August 23-24.The soft landing, the most challenging part of the mission, is planned for late August. Chandrayaan 2 could not achieve this objective when communication with the Lander 'Vikram' was lost.

If success is achieved, Chandrayaan-3 will mark India's entry into an elite club of countries comprising the US, Russia and China that have successfully accomplished lunar landings.

The Chandrayaan programme was first announced on August 15, 2003 by the then Prime Minister, the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The first mission, Chandrayaan-1, took off on October 22, 2008. After entering Lunar Transfer Trajectory as planned, the Moon impact probe ejected and crashed near the lunar South Pole. This mission confirmed the presence of water molecules on Moon's surface. On August 28, 2009, the end of the first mission was announced by ISRO.

Chandrayaan-2, the second mission, was launched on July 22, 2019, entering lunar orbit on August 20, 2019. On September 2, 2019, the Vikram Lander was separated while orbiting the moon in a 100kms lunar polar orbit. Relay from Vikarm to ground stations was lost at an altitude of 2.1 km from the lunar surface — a development that negatively impacted India's credentials as a spacefaring power.

Chandrayaan-3 mission is a follow-up to the second lunar mission. According to scientists involved in the project, Chandrayaan-3 should be able to handle the challenges better than the two missions that came before.

Chandrayaan-3 is India's first major mission since Narendra Modi's government unveiled policies to boost investment in space launches and related satellite-based businesses.

The LVM3 rocket is a composite of three modules -- propulsion, lander and rover (which is housed inside the lander).

Following the separation from the launch vehicle, the propulsion module along with the lander would proceed for an over a month long journey towards reaching the orbit of the moon until it goes 100 km above the lunar surface.

The mission has eight payloads in total. The Vikram lander carries 4 instruments, the Pragyan rover two, and Propulsion Module or the Orbiter carries one experiment. The propulsion module along with the lander, after gaining speed would proceed for an over a month long journey towards reaching the orbit of the moon until it goes 100 km above the lunar surface.

After reaching the desired altitude, the lander module would begin its descent for a soft landing on the south pole region of the moon and this action is expected to take place on August 23 or 24, scientists at ISRO said.

APPEAL TO P.M. MR.MODI FROM GEETA NARGUNDKAR ('NABAR) *OPINION OF A CIVILIAN* & SUPPORTED BY Mr.LINGARAJ MOHANTY ADVOCATE ORISSA HIGHCOURT.

Hits the nail on the head !!!!

All the sensible Indians will
definitely support this view:

*Dear P.M.* *Shri Narendra Modi ji,* *Namaskar !* *Make this change and the country will recognize your leadership!* *Life time pension accorded for one tenure of politicians is gross injustice compared to the rest of the Govt servants who have to put in a minimum of 20 years of service. This is a drain on the public exchequer.* *No one has been able to explain why young men & women who serve in the Military for 20 years or more, risking their lives protecting our freedom get only 50% of their pay on retirement & Short Service Commissioned Officers who also risk their life for a term varying from 5-14 yrs get ZERO retirement benefits after their assignment.* *But Politicians who hold their political positions in the safe confines of the capital, protected by these very same men & women, receive Full-Pay on retirement after serving just one term of 5 yrs. Does it make any sense?* *PM SIR, CHANGE THIS RULE AND THE NATION SHALL BE GRATEFUL TO YOU FOREVER!* *Abolish politicians' pension for life. Just like you motivated common people to give up subsidy, motivate MPs to give up numerous undeserving exorbitant perks and subsidies granted unanimously by themselves, including pension. And we hope it starts with yourself. You are a great motivator.*
*Thanking you in anticipation of a favourable response*

PM Modi received a grand welcome by Indian diaspora in France on Thursday. The hall was echoed with slogans like “Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and “Vandey Matram."

Bastille Day 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his two-day visit to France on Thursday where he received guest of honor and discussed major new defense deals on the first day. French President Emmanuel Macron's red-carpet welcome for the Hindu nationalist leader comes weeks after Modi was given the rare honor of a White House state dinner in Washington -- a city he was once banned from visiting.

Macron has made PM Modi guest of honor for the July 14 military parade, which kicks off France's national day celebrations, with the participation of Indian troops and Indian-flown French-made fighter jets underlining close defense ties.

India is one of the biggest buyers of French arms, with Modi announcing a landmark deal for 36 Rafale fighter jets during a trip to Paris in 2015 that was worth around 4.0 billion euros ($4.24 billion) at the time.

GST Council Meet: 28% GST on online gaming; exemption for cancer drugs & other key decisions ;-ET July 12 2023-Used here for educational purposes only for Commerce Students

The Goods and Services Tax Council after its 50th meet in New Delhi on Tuesday has agreed to levy 28 per cent GST on online gaming, horse racing, casinos on full value.

GST council agreed that there should be no distinction between 'game of skill and game of chance.'

While the Group of Ministers (GoM) in their previous meeting broadly agreed for the proposed taxes on the said activities, there was no consensus on online gaming as Goa proposed to impose only 18 per cent tax on platform fees.

"GST of 28 % on the full value of gaming, horse racing and casino winnings will be a major damper to the gaming industry. The online gaming companies will be hit in a big way," said Parag Mehta, Partner, N.A. Shah Associates said.

The recent announcement by the GST council made will not only hamper online gaming platforms' capacity to develop new games and technologies but will also undermine their competitiveness in the market, said Aaditya Shah, COO, IndiaPlays.

A group of top online gaming firms represented by the FICCI Gaming Committee had urged the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC) not to hike the GST rate for the sector to 28 per cent as they cited it would be “extremely detrimental to the survival of the online gaming industry as no business operations can survive with such high taxation.”

Tax on F&B in Cinema Halls

The council announced that GST on restaurants inside Cineplex to attract 5 per cent GST against 18 per cent earlier.

Before the change, movie tickets below Rs 100 were taxed at 12 per cent, while those above the threshold attracted 18 per cent GST.

The council also shed light on the sale of cinema tickets and supply of eatables such as popcorn or cold drinks etc., when clubbed and sold together, the entire supply should be treated as composite supply and taxed as per the applicable rate of the principal supply, which in this case is cinema ticket.

Along with this, other products which will a reduction in GST are uncooked food palette, fish and soluble paste where the tax is 5 per cent from 18 per cent which was charged earlier.

"The concession rate on food and beverage sold at cinema halls has been approved and would now be taxable at 5% instead of 18% making cinema halls at par with restaurants. While the packaged drinks and foods are already being sold at an inflated rate will have to see how much customers will save with this concession," said Ankur Gupta, Practice Practice Leader, Indirect Tax at SW India.

Council to exempt GST on cancer drug

Further, the meeting also decided to exempt GST on import of cancer drug Dinutuximab, and Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMP) used in the treatment of rare diseases. Currently, the drug attracts a 12% integrated GST.

"The GST Council’s decision to reduce tax rates and provide exemptions on specified products is a welcome move. Concerning cancer-related / rare disease medicine the cost of medicine is too huge and such an exemption will surely help the public at large. There were specific exemptions provided in a couple of cases but with this amendment, the upfront exemption will be applicable," said Gupta

Council on Taxation on MUV
Apart from the decision on GGR for online gaming, the GST Council also decided on the definition of utility vehicles and tightening of norms for registration.

A clarity on taxation of Multi Utility Vehicles (MUV) was provided.

The Council has agreed to the recommendation to levy a 22 per cent compensation cess for MUV, but Sedan has not been included in the list, the Finance Minister said at the press conference.

The Finance Minister said two states, Punjab and Tamil Nadu were against sedans being included in the list which will see a rise in GST being taxed.

Council to set up appellate tribunal

Foreign companies in tough situation due to China's new anti-espionage law Foreign companies are in a difficult situation as China's new anti-espionage law came into effect on Saturday, Nikkei Asia reported :-Business Standard

Foreign companies are in a difficult situation as China's new anti-espionage law came into effect on Saturday, Nikkei Asia reported.

The leaders of the two largest business groups in China for overseas companies said that implementation of the hazily defined legislation will further shake business confidence that has already been rocked by geopolitical tensions between Beijing and Washington, as per Nikkei Asia.

President of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, Jens Eskelund in an interview with Nikkei Asia asked: "What is it that we are supposed to comply with? "What constitutes a state secret? What kind of information [is it] that we are not supposed to have?"

China's revised Anti-Espionage Law is aimed at strengthening China's national security, as provided for under the original law adopted in 2014.

The revision expands the scope of targets for espionage to "all documents, data, materials and articles," and allows law enforcement officials to inspect the baggage, electronic devices and property of a suspect.

This increases the risk for businesses, which are already subject to similar laws, such as the Data Security Law and National Security Law.The Chinese economy's recovery from the COVID pandemic has been wobbly, pushing the government to cut interest rates in hopes of boosting spending as business activity and real estate sales contracted in the first five months of the year.

Here's a complete factual list of how Congress suppressed the Hindus by subverting it through our constitution. The list is compiled by Arpita Chatterjee @asliarpita on twitter.

Congress and Hinduism

Hindus still couldn’t understand Congress even after :
Article 25, 28, 30 (1950)
HRCE Act (1951)
HCB MPL (1956)
Secularism (1975)
Minority Act (1992)
POW Act (1991)
Waqf Act (1995)
Ram Setu Affidavit (2007)
Saffron t€ππ0π!sm (2009)

1, They legalised conversion by Article 25. 2, They snatched religious education from Hindus through Article 28 but allowed religious education to M$l!ms and Christians in Article 30. 3, They snatched all Temples and Temple money from Hindus by enacting HRCE Act 1951. 4, They destroyed Hindu families by Divorce law, Dowry law under Hindu Code Bill but didn't touch Muslim Personal Laws. Allowed them polygamy so that they could keep increasing their population. 5, Brought Special Marriage Act in 1954 so that Mu$l!m boys can easily marry with Hindu girls. 6, In 1975 they imposed emergency, forcefully added word Secularism in constitution and forcefully made India Secular. 7,Congress didn't stop here. In 1991 they brought Minority Commission Act and declared Msl!m$ as minorities though in Secular country there can't be majority - minority. 8, They gave special rights like Scholarship, Govt. benefits to them under Minority Act. 9, In 1992, they stopped Hindus from taking back their Temples in legal way and snatched 40000 Temples from Hindus by Place of Worship Act. 10, Congress even didn't stop here and in 1995 they gave right to Mu$l!ms to claim any land, snatch any Hindus land by Waqf Act and made Muslims second biggest land owner of India. 11, In 2007, they declined the existence of *Shri Ram* in Ramsetu affidavit in Supreme Court & Extreme point in anti- Hindu crusade was in 2009 when Congress declared Hinduism as extrem!st religion by coining the term Saffron extrem!sm . 12, and funny thing is the same congress in their 136 years of history, never ever found any extrem!sm in burqa, in tripple talaq 13, Congress slowly very cleverly kept stripping Hindus. They kept stripping Hindu rights one by one & now Hindus are completely bereft of everything & funny thing is they are not even aware of it. 14, They don't have their Temples, they don't have their religious education, their lands are not their permanent properties. And they don't even ask questions! Why Mosques and Churches are free, but Temples are under Govt. control? Why there are Govt. funded Madarssas, Convent schools but not Govt. funded Gurukuls? Why their is Waqf Act but not Hindu land act? Why their is Mu$l!m Personal board but not Hindu Personal board? Why there is majority minority, if India is Secular country? Why Ramayan and Mahabharata not taught in schools? 15, Aurangzeb used the sword to destroy Hinduism, Congress used Constitution, Acts, Bills to destroy Hinduism and where the sword failed, Constitution did it. 16, And then there is media. If any one try to ask these questions, he/she is declared communal, saffron andh bhakts. If any politician try to correct these mistakes then they are called as they are weakening the democracy. 17, Remember it just took 80 years for the fall of the mighty Roman religion. Every Hindu must read about fall of Roman civilization. No external force could defeat them, they were defeated internally by their own ruler Constantine and by Christianity. 18, Hindus chose Nehru & his family from 1950 & have paid a heavy price & have being at receiving end for most of the years from Congress Govts. Time for Hindus to come out of Slave mentality & be like Shivaji &Maha Rana Pratap who never became slaves during their reign. Today we have a dynamic PM whose hands needs to be strengthened until we conquer the World not by Sword but by " Vasudaivam Kutumbukam Do we need this one party which has done so much damage to Hindus ???
....... the blame shouldn't just rest on Congress... The regional parties which aligned with Congress every now and then for political reasons and remained silent spectators are also to be blamed...WAKE UP

"THE ECONOMY OF TAXING ONE AND GIVING IT TO OTHERS IS A ROBBERY AND WAS A TRADITION OF DACOITS"

*Taxing is virtually an extortion and has been derived from traditions of invaders.*

*One can always tax goods, services and trade on goods* but individual hard earnings can not be taxed if so it is called दैत्य प्रथा

🇮🇳 *If India stops IT and brings it down to even zero with simultaneous taxation on goods and services, India will become several trillions dollar economy as FDI would come running*
*Let our banks invite deposits without asking for source of money and see whole world would come with money bags as our banking is not only safe but it has huge Infrastructure and manpower.*
*Let us invite money from all over the world with 2 percent service charges and extend loan to World Bank and IMF at 10 percent.*
*But our foolish policy of taxing hard working people and giving it to migrants terror mouth pieces is some thing like to rob Peter to pay Paul*
Who chooses our FM.
*We follow dictates of WB and IMF.They extend us loans which they swindle from Swiss banks at 2.5 % interest and Swiss banks deposit black money of our politicians, bureaucrats and capitalists and advance it to Western countries who further advance it to their citizens at very very low interest rates*.
But WB and IMF give us loan at high interest rates.
So Indian economy sustains Western economy and our blackmarkeeters.
Our Netas, babus and contractors steal WB and IMF loans - examples Shimla water supply scheme, Flood control loans in a neighboring state, junk highway loans, subsidiy on industrial units etc.

Wouldn't it be surprising if her paternal uncle's name appears as a defeated general in the textbook curated by Romila Thapar! To some extent, it is these rich families who accepted British bribes and are still driving our sense of history to a certain extent. These same families are the self-proclaimed wholesalers of all progress. They are the ones who bring in false stories and prevent the rise of Indian identity. After independence, it was Nehru and the Congress who ensured that British interests were protected by giving key positions to all these traitors. When Teesta Setalvad went in, it's not just the fall of a fraudster. It is also the decline of a large parasitic ecosystem that is rooted back by many generations and has been sucking the blood of the Indian people for more than a century. (Sunil Kumar)Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow stands on Tara Road, Juhu, Mumbai it's a big bungalow. There are only 2-3 bungalows of big industrialists after AB's bungalow. Along that way you'll find a big bungalow. The name of the bungalow is "Nirant”. This bungalow is 3 times bigger than Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow. This bungalow has about 3 acres of lawn and it is very luxurious. You will be surprised at what kind of a luxurious bungalow in a posh area like Juhu in Mumbai is! That bungalow "Nirant" does not belong to any superstar or industrialist. The bungalow belongs to none other than… Teesta Javed Setalvad. She's just a social worker. From 2004 to 2012 , she received millions of dollars in donations from abroad. For what? To uplift the poor. Now there's one more thing .. Why do some are anti India. Their forefathers sowed the seed. The infamous Hunter Commission was a commission of inquiry that gave a clean chit to General Reginald Dyer, who ordered the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Harilal Chimanlal Setalvad, who was a member of it, is the great-grandfather of Teesta Setalvad, who is now in jail. It was this Harilal Chimanlal Setalvad's son, i.e. Teesta's grandfather, Motilal Chimanlal Setalvad, who later acquitted General Dyer in the same Jallianwala Bagh case. After independence, Nehru appointed the same Motilal Chimanlal Setalvad, who had acquitted General Dyer, as the Attorney General. One of the many indelible records of Nehru's British allegiance to the British. The story of seed quality does not end here. When the same General Dyer was facing trial in the same case, it was Diwan Bahadur Kunj Bihari Thapar who declared his steadfast British allegiance by collecting Rs 1.5 lakh on behalf of Gen Dyer and honouring him with an award with a kripan and a turban. Yes, he was actually Karan Thapar's great-grandfather. The Thapar family is a wealthy family that made their wealth during the First World War, by supplying men and materials to the British for heavy commissions. When the Thapar family declares their allegiance, don't wonder where the Sikhs' kirpan and turban came from. In fact, it was the management of the Golden Temple that took the initiative. It took place under the auspices of two new rich Singhs, Sujan Singh and Shobha Singh. There's a reason for that. These were the contractors who were almost entirely in control of the construction work when the capital of British India was shifted from Calcutta to Delhi. Khushwant Singh, the son of Shobha Singh, was a well-known writer and a staunch Indira Gandhi devotee who wrote articles justifying and whitewashing the Emergency. This Khushwant Singh's son, Rahul Singh, still continues the clan’s occupation of anti-Indianism by glorifying people like Teesta Setalvad and Arundhati Roy on NDTV. Back to the Thapar family... Karan Thapar's father, Pran Nath Thapar, was the Army chief of India who led the war with China in 1962. Pran Nath's predecessor, General KS Thimmaiah, had originally proposed Lt Gen SPP Thorat as his successor. But it was Nehru who sabotaged the proposal and inserted Pran Nath on his own. Another aspect of Nehru's British allegiance. Not only that, the daughter of Pran Nath's brother, Maya Das Thapar, the real Romila Thapar, who wrote history textbooks in Indian schools. That too was Nehru's nomination. In school/university history textbooks, you will find nowhere the fact that It was Pran Nath Thapar who led the losing war of 1962. When Teesta Setalvad went in, *it's not just the fall of a fraudster. It is also the decline of a large parasitic ecosystem*💪🌳 that is rooted back by many generations and has been sucking the blood of the Indian people for more than a century.
