INDIA NEWS India observes former PM Rajiv Gandhi's 30th death anniversary today HT

Hailing from the politically powerful Nehru–Gandhi family, Gandhi was born in 1944 in Bombay.
Every year on May 21, India pays homage to the former prime minister and Congress leader Rajiv Gandhi who was assassinated during a political campaign, 30 years ago today.

This year, the Congress party has asked all its state units and frontal organisations to observe the death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi as the day of "Seva and Sadbhavna" for the people who are grappling with Covid-19 pandemic.

The Congress workers have been asked to distribute relief materials to people, and prepare kits of basic medicines and distribute them to those in need.

A Bharat Ratna recipient, Gandhi was the sixth prime minister of the country. He took charge of the office in 1984 following the assassination of his mother Indira Gandhi and became the youngest ever to serve the office. He was 40-year-old at that time.

Hailing from the politically powerful Nehru–Gandhi family, Gandhi was born in 1944 in Bombay. His maternal grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru was the first Prime Minister of India.

Gandhi completed his schooling at Doon school in Dehradun after which he moved to London for further studies. He returned to India in 1966, when India Gandhi became the first female prime minister of the country.

Gandhi was also a trained pilot and worked for state-owned Indian Airlines for some time.

In 1968, Rajiv Gandhi married Sonia Gandhi who is the current president of the Congress party. Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi are the couple's children.

Assassination

In 1991, Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated during an election campaign by a Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) suicide bomber in Sriperumbudur, Chennai. Following the death of Rajiv Gandhi, his wife Sonia took charge of the Congress party and became party president for the first time in 1998.

Supreme Court allows personal bankruptcy cases on tycoons :-The economic times By Upmanyu Trivedi, BloombergLast Updated: May 21, 2021, 05:16 PM IST

India’s Supreme Court has allowed personal bankruptcy cases to resume against individuals including tycoons who were once among the country’s richest.

The top court upheld the legal validity of the country’s law that allowed lenders to drag them into bankruptcy court. The two-judge panel headed by Justice L. Nageswara Rao said petitions challenging the law are dismissed.

The federal government in 2019 introduced the law that allowed lenders to file parallel bankruptcies against defaulting firms and the individuals who guaranteed those loans. Lenders last year filed bankruptcy cases against businessmen including Reliance Group’s Anil Ambani, The verdict is a boost for lenders as it allows them to seek recovery of dues from guarantors of loans even while bankruptcy processes against the companies are pending. This could potentially speed up efforts by lenders trying to clear one of the world’s worst piles of bad loans.

Bank stocks added to their gains. Seven out of the top 10 performers on the benchmark S&P BSE Sensex were lenders, led by IndusInd Bank Ltd. which jumped 3.4% to its highest level in two months. A measure of banks, S&P BSE Bankex, was the best performer among 19 sector gauges compiled by BSE Ltd, advancing 2%, compared to a 1.4% gain in the benchmark Sensex.

The Supreme Court has ruled that debt resolution for companies, does not extinguish the liability of the personal guarantor, said Misha, a partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. who goes by one name. “This will help settling the jurisprudence finally on simultaneous initiation and proceeding with insolvency resolution process against principal borrower and guarantors,” she said.

ITR due date extension: Income Tax Return filing dates for AY 2021-22 extended. Check details By: Rajeev Kumar | Updated: May 20, 2021 7:05 PM Income Tax Return Due Dates Extended for AY 2021-22: The Central Government today extended the due date of filing ITR for Assessment Year 2021-22.:-Indian Express

Income Tax Return Due Dates Extended for AY 2021-22: The Government has extended the due date of filing ITR for Assessment Year 2021-22 for individuals by two months till September 30. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) also extended the ITR filing deadline for companies by a month till November 30.

According to the income tax law, for individuals whose accounts are not required to be audited and who usually file their income tax return using ITR-1 or ITR-4 forms, the deadline to file ITR is July 31. The deadline for taxpayers, like companies or firms, whose accounts are required to be audited is October 31. These due dates have now been extended.

In a circular today, the CBDT said the extension of time limits is being given for certain tax compliances “to provide relief to taxpayers in view of the severe pandemic”.

Commenting on the extension of due dates, Archit Gupta, Founder, and CEO, ClearTax, said: “Various due date relaxations will reduce compliance burden for businesses that have been struggling in the current crisis. This also emphasises how critical it is for businesses to move their tax compliance fully online. The extension of due dates for various compliances for employers as well extension of tax filing due date for taxpayers is important in the current situation as the second wave of covid is raging through several states in India.

Form 16 deadline

The deadline for issuing Form 16 by employers to employees has been extended by a month till July 15, 2021, the CBDT circular said.

Various other due dates have also been extended to provide relief to taxpayers. These are:

  • Due date for filing return of income for AY 2021-22 extended to 30th September, 2021 from 31st July, 2021 for Regular Assessees
  • Due date of Filing Return of Income for Tax Audit Assessee – Extended to 30th November, 2021 from 31st October,2021
  • Due date of furnishing Tax Audit Report extended to 31st October, 2021 from 30th September, 2021
  • Due date of Filing Belated/Revised Return of income extended to 31st January, 2022 from 31st December, 2021
  • Due date of Transfer Pricing Study Report extended to 30th November, 2021
  • SFT Due date extended to 30th June, 2021 from 31st May, 2021
  • Statement of Reportable Account – extended to 30th June, 2021 from 31st May, 2021
  • TDS Statement for Q4 of FY 2020-21 extended to 30th June, 2021 from 31st May, 2021
  • Form 16 Issue Date – extended to 15th July, 2021 from 15th June, 2021

Nangia & Co LLP Partner Shailesh Kumar told PTI that the extension of due dates is likely to provide some relief to taxpayers on the tax compliance front.

“However, for taxpayers, whose entire income tax liability is not discharged by TDS and advance tax and such shortfall is more than Rs 1 lakhs, they should endeavour to file their ITR within respective original due date to avoid the charge of interest u/s 234A, which is charged on filing ITR beyond the original due date at the rate of 1 per cent per month for every month/ part thereof after the original due date of filing ITR,” Kumar said.

On April 1, CBDT had notified forms for filing ITR for 2020-21 fiscal. No significant change was made in the forms to facilitate the taxpayers.

Fretting over 30% crash in Bitcoin? Experts say it's a healthy correction, excellent opportunity to buy "Bitcoin's fall was expected for some time because nothing goes in just one direction. Additionally, we have also seen price rising over 50 percent in a single day, so there is no need to panic," says Siddharth Menon, co-founder & COO at WazirX. SWATI VERMA MAY 20, 2021 / 07:40 AM IST moneycontrolnews

Analysts at JPMorgan say that investors may also be exiting Bitcoin for gold, citing positioning data compiled on basis of open interest in CME Bitcoin futures contracts.

In one of the craziest trades, world's best-known cryptocurrency Bitcoin nosedived as much as 31 percent to $30,201.96 (over the past 24 hours) on May 19, sending shockwaves through the financial world. Other cryptos such as Ethereum, Dogecoin too were in a free fall.

According to cryptocurrency platform Coindesk, Ethereum plunged up to 30.35 percent to $2,385.18 in the last 24 hours while Dogecoin slid as much as 30 percent to $0.338528 in one day. At the time of writing this report, Bitcoin was trading at $35,890.96 (down 20 percent) and its market cap stood at $673.34 billion. From its all-time high of $64,829.14, the virtual currency has plunged as much as 53 percent. In the past seven days, the market-cap has fallen over $300 billion - half of RBI's forex assets, as tweeted by market expert Deepak Shenoy.

According to a Reuters report, cryptocurrency price declines last week were sparked by Elon Musk's reversal on Tesla accepting bitcoin as payment. "His subsequent tweets caused further confusion over whether the carmaker had shed its holdings of the coin," the report added.

Cryptocurrency bloodbath: Bitcoin plunges 30% in 24 hours, Ethereum tanks 40%

Further, China's announcement on May 18 banning financial institutions and payment companies from providing services related to cryptocurrency transactions exacerbated selling. China also warned investors against speculative crypto trading.

So, is it a sign of worry for crypto traders and investors?

Most analysts opine that volatility is the sole nature of the market and hence there is nothing to be perturbed about. In fact, it's a very healthy correction and market participants should utilise this correction to buy cryptos.

"Bitcoin's fall was expected for some time because nothing goes in just one direction. Additionally, we have also seen price rising over 50 percent in a single day, so there is no need to panic," says Siddharth Menon, co-founder & COO at WazirX.

"It is a healthy correction because $28,000 is a very good support level and $38,000 was Fibonacci support level earlier. The price is still within the limits...the danger zone would be if it breaches $19,000 zone which seems unlikely. We are still in a bull run phase and I don't see the crypto breaking below 24K zone," Menon said further.

Echoing similar views, Avinash Shekhar, Co-CEO of ZebPay, says, “A nearly 40% dip in the bitcoin price from its all-time high looks dramatic but is normal in many volatile markets, including crypto, especially after such a large rally. Such corrections are mainly due to short-term traders taking profits. Long-term value investors might call these lower prices a buying opportunity. Technical analysts would call this a test of the support level around $40,000. Neither type of investor would say that tweets are the underlying cause. Investors should invest in education first. Research the underlying value of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other crypto assets as you might look at a company’s information before buying stocks."

Meanwhile, analysts at JPMorgan say that investors may also be exiting Bitcoin for gold, citing positioning data compiled on basis of open interest in CME Bitcoin futures contracts.

This shows "the steepest and more sustained liquidation" in Bitcoin futures since last October, they told clients, adding that it pointed to "continued retrenchment by institutional investors", Reuters reported quoting JP Morgan analysts.

JUST ON HILARIOUS NOTE ONLY -WITHOUT MALICE TO ANY ONE -MUST READ BY CITIZENS OF ISRAEL AND PALESTINE

Hilarious dog story Israeli Dog and Arab Dog : Time for some laughter....

The Israelis and Arabs realized that, if they continued fighting, they would someday end up destroying the whole world. So they decided to settle their dispute with an ancient practice: a duel of two, like David and Goliath. This "duel" would be a dog fight.

The negotiators agreed each side would take 5 years to develop the best fighting dog they could. The dog that won the fight would earn its people the right to rule the disputed areas. The losing side would have to lay down its arms for good.

The Arabs found the biggest, meanest Dobermans and Rottweilers in the world. They bred them together and then crossed their offspring with the meanest Siberian wolves. They selected only the biggest, strongest puppy of each litter, fed it the best food and killed all the other puppies. They used steroids and trainers in their quest for the perfect killing machine. When the 5 years were up, they had a dog that needed steel prison bars on its cage. Only expert trainers could handle this incredibly nasty and ferocious beast.

When the day of the big dog-fight finally arrived, the Israelis showed up with a very strange-looking animal, a Dachshund that was 10 feet long! Everyone at the dogfight arena felt sorry for the Israelis. No one there seriously thought this weird, odd-looking animal stood any chance against the growling Arab beast. All the bookies took one look and predicted that the Arab dog would win in less than a minute.

As the cages were opened, the Dachshund slowly waddled toward the center of the ring, watching the Arab dog. The Arab dog leaped from its cage and charged the giant wiener-dog. As he got to within an inch of the Israeli dog, the Dachshund opened its jaws wide and swallowed the Arab beast whole in one go! There was nothing left but a small puff of fur from the Arab killer dog's tail floating to the ground.

The stunned crowd of international observers, bookies and media personnel let out a collective gasp of disbelief and surprise. Eventually, the Arabs along with the press approached the Israelis, muttering and shaking their heads in disbelief. "We do not understand," said the Arabs' leader, "Our top scientists and breeders worked for 5 long years with the meanest, biggest Dobermans, Rottweilers and Siberian wolves, and they developed an incredible killing machine of a dog! What did you do?"*

*
The Israelis replied. "We gave a team of our Plastic surgeons 5 years to make a Crocodile look like a Dog."😜😜😀

I am putting forward some facts and request all to ponder over it without any political or other biases.:-All Indians must read this.

 Contributor ChanderDhiman

Let's see the chronology.

1. Till February 2021, all seem to be wonderful.

2 The malls had opened, shopping centres restarted, schools were reopening and life was creeping back to normalcy in India.

3. The indian vaccine had been the "talk of the town" in the whole world with exports to 87 countries. Infact we were competing with China in most of the countries, as Indian vaccine gained more favour.

4. The farmer protests had almost died down and no major protests of any nature were happening in the country.

5. End February. The boundary talks with China have finally resulted in to some kind of negotiations.

6. March 2021.
There were some major arms deal signed and decision taken to manufacture a lot of equipment within the country.

7. 07 Apr- A major Maoist attack took place. A meeting called in Delhi to review counter naxal policy.

8. Between 10- 15 April. Within 5- 6 days, a huge wave hits India with unimaginable proportions completely overturning the situation.

9. Surprisingly no such Covid criticality in equally populated Pakistan and Bangladesh !!

10. By 20 April. By now whole international media jumps in to highlight inadequacies in Indian medical system and administration.Countries like Pakistan started talking of offering medical help to India.

11. 24 Apr. Glacier bursts takes place in Himalayan borders killing several people. Simultaneously articles appeared in the Chinese media saying India should not expect any more concessions on boundary talks.

Now the question is : Is this huge second wave, could be a result of a planned and carefully crafted biological attack by our adversaries to bring down our International standing and create internal unrest ???

(Please think over it with a cool mind and keep all political or other biases away.)

The second corona wave *a planned biological war* against India?
Do you believe that the second wave of the current widespread pandemic in India is due to the spread of the virus in general?

Till a fortnight ago I used to believe that this is the second wave, but now a lot of doubt has gone home in my mind.

Look at the state of the entire Indian subcontinent. Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan... There was no other wave in these countries or in any other country of Asia. Today there are similar conditions as they were in India two-and-a-half months ago. Then how did this bomb explode in India itself? Are the citizens of all those countries very much disciplined than Indians? Do they wear masks around the clock to avoid epidemics?
 No!
Do their geographical location differ from India?
No!
Then, the second wave could not even touch these countries and is breaking India, why?

ICMR has said at the time of the first wave that crores of people got this *disease* in India and they did not even know and when crores of people suffered it, they became *disease resistant* . If so, then *the second wave*... How did it become *dangerous*? And why did it happen *only in India*?

Look at the *global conditions* after this *pandemic*. From *medicine, vaccine* to *economy management*. *India* amazed the whole *world*.
And now, understand the *real concern* of *China*. *China* is talking of *help* to *India* today. Last year was also it was *infiltrating* in the *pandemic period*. After * kicking out* there, situation is so *improved* that it started to help us ????

*Pakistan* as *long time foe* and a *lame* talking of help to India ??.
One very important reason is that *Modi* is not bowing down like *Trump*.

The world's *Pharma Lobby, Oil Lobby and Arms Lobby* created this *pandemic* and
*BlackLivesMatter* and
*George Floyd* beat *Trump* by causing a terrible uproar in the *media* of the issues. Because *Trump* stood against these *lobbies*. Today the same people are following * Modi*.

Do you know why? because ...
... the *business* of *pharma companies* is at least *4 to 6 trillion dollars (annually)*. Vaccine business of at least *1.25 trillion* was reduced to zero. The *PPE Kit* of *500 billion dollars* and *business* of *mask* was almost reduced.
In the field of *medical* , *India*, who was suffering *loss* due to *self-sufficiency*..How did the country that always was extending alms has become a *vaccine* sharing country ??Undigestable isn't it ? Germany knows this pain on how India beat them* in the field of *Drugs*. Please think again.

Going forward..
... *75000 to 100000 charging stations* are being built for *electric vehicles* in India in the next 2 - 3 years which will reduce *oil* consumption by *30%*. This is a slap in the face of the *global oil lobby*.

not only this...
... India has started *export* of *LCA fighter planes* and *BrahMos missile* which is proving to be a *massive setback* for the *global arms lobby*.

*Modi* is a big *thorn* in the way of all these lobbies…
... and they firmly believe that this *thorn* can be removed only by *public anger*.

Another aspect...
Most people are now shown to be angry at *Modi*'s *rallies and campaigning* in *Assam* and *West Bengal* elections. But they have no understanding of *Geo Politics*.
*15 crore Bangladeshis* and *Rohingyas* in *Assam* and *West Bengal* many *lakh intruders* have been made guests.
( *Didi* and *Raga/Soga* have also made *Aadhaar Card* for everyone.)

Now looking into this sensitivity, *Assam* and *Bengal* are *perhaps* more important to India than it is to *Kashmir*.

Search *"Chicken Neck"* on Google.

"Believe it or not, the *second wave* of *Chinese disease* in India has been projected for Modi to *fail* on every front and to make it *civil war* in the country."

It is a *dangerous game* of the *Maoists* of *China* and its *sleeper cells* hiding in India…
Showing *24x7 dead bodies and oxygen deficiency* , *pandemic news* , the opposition parties and their governments are ignorantly (wantingly) co-conspiring with anti-Modi global lobbies.

Why is the same *mother shown* dying as a *mother* of hundreds?

Why only there is *crowd* in the *crematorium*?

Some *70 tweets* alike surfaced Why that our *Mother* died *without oxygen* ??

*Tool Kit Gang* again *active* at whose *gesture*?

Suddenly the *farmer* also returned to the *border of Delhi*?

As soon as the *recovery scandal* surfaced in Maharashtra, Modi started winning *Bengal*.

...then *how* did the *pandemic* appear again ???

Brothern, this is a *conspiracy* Believe it or not !!
This could be a *huge war*!
I am not an *expert* but look at *situations* and think *why all of a sudden* this happened only with *India*…

It can be a *formidable biological weapon* !!!

After a short interval, this *fight* is going to go a long way.

If the next *generation* is not to be made a *slave* then in that case…
... you understand very well what you have to do.

Sip your Tea
Nice and Slow

No one Ever knows
when it’s Time to Go,
There’ll be no Time
to enjoy the Glow,
So sip your Tea
Nice and Slow.

Life is too Short but
feels pretty Long,
There’s too Much to do, so much going Wrong,
And Most of the Time You Struggle to be Strong,
Before it’s too Late
and it’s time to Go,
Sip your Tea
Nice and Slow.

Some Friends stay,
others Go away,
Loved ones are Cherished but not all will Stay.
Kids will Grow up
and Fly away.
There’s really no Saying how Things will Go,
So sip your Tea
Nice and Slow.

In the End it’s really
all about understanding Love
For this World
and in the Stars above,
Appreciate and Value who truly Cares,
Smile and Breathe
and let your Worries go,
So Just Sip your Tea
Nice and Slow.

This poem is beyond all relationships
But made for us all.

When I'm dead.
Your tears will flow
But I won't know
Cry with me now instead.

You will send flowers,
But I won't see
Send them now instead

You'll say words of praise
But I won't hear.
Praise me now instead

You'll forget my faults,
But I won't know.....
Forget them now instead.

You'll miss me then,
But I won't feel.
Miss me now, instead.

You'll wish You could have spent more time with me,
Spend it now instead

When you hear I'm gone, you'll find your way to my house to pay condolence but we haven't even spoken in years.
Look for me now.

Alone I can 'Say' but together we can 'Talk'.
Alone I can 'Enjoy' but together we can 'Celebrate'
Alone I can 'Smile' but together we can 'Laugh'

That's the BEAUTY of Human Relations.
We are nothing without each other
So Stay Connected!

ISRAEL Vs.HAMAS

 Contributor ChanderDhiman thru Whatsapp.

*Breaking news:* Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu just made the following speech in front of the Knesset:

----

To Ismail Haniya, and the leaders and operatives of Hamas:

We, the people of Israel, owe you a huge debt of gratitude. You have succeeded where we have failed. Because never before, in the history of the modern State of Israel, has the Jewish people been so united, like one person with one heart. Everyone in Israel, from Left to Right, secular and religious, in united in the knowledge that there is no accommodating an enemy that is sworn to the genocide of our people.

And now, as you continue to launch deadly missiles indiscriminately, intended to maim and murder as many civilians as possible, while you take cowardly refuge behind your own civilians - you continue to inspire us to hold strongly onto our unity. Whatever disputes we Jews may have with each other, we now know that we have one common goal: we will defeat you.

But we are offering you now one last chance. Within 24 hours, all rocket fire - and I mean all rocket fire - will cease. Completely. Forever.

I give you formal notice that our tanks are massed at the Gaza border, with artillery and air support at the ready. We have already dropped leaflets over the northern parts of the Gaza strip, warning civilians of our impending arrival, and that they should evacuate southward, forthwith. If you fail to meet our ultimatum, we are coming in, and, with God's help, this time we will not leave. Every centimeter of land that we conquer will be annexed to Israel, so that there will *never* be another attack launched at our civilians from there.

Even so, we will continue to keep the door open to allow you to surrender gracefully. The moment you announce that you are laying down arms, we will halt our advance, and there we will draw our new borders. If you continue to attack our citizens, we will continue to roll southwards, driving you out of territory that you will never again contaminate with your evil presence.

It pains me deeply that your civilians will be made homeless. But we did not choose this war; you did. And if our choice is between allowing our citizens to be targeted mercilessly by your genocidal savagery, versus turning your civilians into refugees, I regret that we must choose the latter. If only you loved your people as much as you hate ours, this war would never have happened.

To the rest of the world: Israel has tired of your ceaseless chidings that we should "show restraint". When you have your entire population under constant missile fire from an implacable enemy whose stated goal is the murder of every man, woman and child in your land, then you may come and talk to us about "restraint". Until then, we respectfully suggest that you keep your double standards to yourselves. This time, Hamas has gone too far, and we will do whatever we have to in order to protect our population.

Hamas, once again, I thank you for bringing our people together with such clarity of mind and unity of purpose. The people of Israel do not fear the long road ahead. *Am Yisrael Chai.*

COVID 19:-COMPARISON BETWEEN US AND INDIA

Contributor VirinderDhar

Comparison between US and India

Total cases so far
US - 3.34 Cr / India - 2.19 Cr
Total Population
US - 33 Cr / India - 139 Cr
Total Covid Deaths
US - 594K / India - 238K
Total Active Cases
US - 65 lac / India 37.31 Lac

Per Capita Income
US - $ 54000 / India $ 1700

US successful / India unsuccessful!!
Reason?
Health infrastructure in US is 10 times better than India.
Whose fault?
Modi? No. Governments which ruled India for maximum years since independence. That is Congress!
Media / hypocrite educated illiterate paid journalists who go after Modi for everything to get popular.

When was the election in US? Right in the middle of Pandemic. Did you read any reports from these same journalist blaming US for election? No.

US denied raw material for making vaccines to India resulting in slowing down the pace of vaccination. Did these journalist write about the same? No.

US people are in crisis over job loss. Any journalist highlights the same? No.

In US dead bodies of Covid patients were kept in cold storage / refrigerated because they could not handle so many dead bodies. In India, the culture is to cremate dead bodies immediately so you see queues at shmasans. These journalists used this as photo op and publicity! There were pictures from China / US / Europe where dead bodies were lying outside hospitals. Did anyone highlight those? No. But our paid journalists use such opportunity to fill their pockets.

So stop reading and spreading the negativity. Start realising what actual India is. What is the capacity of India in handling pandemic and then compare how it is handling! Opposition parties have single agenda. Month back all were saying lockdown is not an option. Now the same bunch is saying lockdown is the only option. So if these guys are experts then why they change their opinions!

It’s human psychology, whatever is repeated again and again in front of people, they will start getting influenced by that and start believing it. So rise above the herd psychology!

If you understand this then fine else you are just a hater with one agenda of bringing down India because currently it’s lead by Modi!!
It is time to work together in the interest of nation to save people instead of finding faults . ALL INDIANS WHO LOVE INDIA MUST READ THIS AS TO HOW THIS LADY CALLED BARKHA DUTT IS THE BEST EXAMPLE OF ANTI INDIA VULTURE MEDIA.I MYSELF RESIDE NEAR MEDANTA HOSPITAL AT GURUGRAM AND VERIFIED THE FACTS BEFORE PUTTING THIS ON MY BLOG.

Then, Barkha Dutt’s old father succumbed to Covid-19, unfortunately. But, the grieving daughter used every word to describe her father’s death to suit her propaganda. Selection of words is enough to influence readers deeply—My father’s last words, I am choking, treat me.

What Barkha Dutt didn’t remind her audience and the CNN reporter that he was admitted to a premier hospital, Medanta hospital, and he was being treated by a group of best doctors. Even after being treated by the best doctors, the last words of Barkha Dutt’s father was, “treat me, I am choking.” Does it sound sane? Also, only Barkha Dutt can tell how she was allowed in ICU, where her father was admitted, to listen to his last words.

Barkha Dutt is a perfect example of vulture media, who can use her father’s death to spin propaganda. Dear Barkha Dutt, your father was being treated by a group of best doctors in the best hospital, Medanta. Nevertheless, his last words were, “I am choking, treat me.” Then, who should have treated him? What about those who are struggling even to get a bed in hospital?

There is an unprecedented rise in Covid-19 positive cases in India. Medical facilities and infrastructure are overwhelmed. For a patient, it is a battle to get admitted to the hospital. However, India’s health infrastructures are working day and night to save as many patients as they can. The job of the media is to raise constructive criticism. But, media is creating a wave of panic even among those who are not suffering from Covid-19.
