NDA's Modi stakes claim to form government for a historic third time :-ET

 

Narendra Modi, at 73, assumed leadership of the NDA bloc and visited Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday to meet President Droupadi Murmu, formally submitting his claim to form the government. Beforehand, he conferred with BJP veteran L.K. Advani. Accompanied by alliance leaders such as Chandrababu Naidu and Eknath Shinde, Modi proceeded to Rashtrapati Bhavan.
