NCDEX has barred the clients from storing commodities in exchange warehouse or cold storage beyond 90 days of its exchange delivery date. This notification comes into effect immediately. Failure of which will allow the Exchange or WSPs to recover their cost by means of an auction or by levying charges.
Restricting the commodity storage up to 90 days will ensure that the market participants and investors have sufficient time to lift their stocks from the warehouse.
