Rupee hits three-month high against US dollar, surges 76 paise to 70.69 ET NOW | NOV 22, 2018, 06.09 PM IST

Extending its winning streak to a seventh session, the rupee on Thursday settled at its highest level against the US dollar since August 29. The local currency closed 76 paise up at 70.70 against the greenback following selling in greenback by exporters and softening crude oil prices. The rupee opened 32 paise up at 71.14 against the US dollar against the previous close of 71.46 hit on Tuesday.
