On Indian news channels, everyone supports India.
On Pakistani news channels, everyone supports Pakistan.
In reality, everyone supports their own interests.
- China supports Pakistan because it has made major investments in Pakistan. They can't say goodbye to all the money they have invested.
- USA supports the one who sits on the opposite chair. Trump supports Modi when he sits next to him and supports Pakistan when the Pakistani PM sits next to him.
- France supports India because they have more stakes in India. The whole Dassult Aviation deal and other form of trade makes them side with India.
- Russia supports India because they always have. They are an all weather friend, although they have recently started showing interest in selling weapons to Pakistan and conducting military drills with them. We all know who that benefits (wink wink)
- U.K supports nobody, although they will side with India if they were made to choose at a gun point. Only because Pakistan is asking them 'to do' something against India while India is asking them to just mind their own business.
There you have it. Countries support their interests my friend, not of other countries!
