Jashodaben Narendrabhai Modi is the wife of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The couple was arranged to be married in their teenage years, and they got married in 1968 when Modi was 18 years old and Jashodaben was 16 years old.
However, the marriage was not consummated, and the couple separated soon after. Jashodaben has remained unmarried since then and has led a private life, living in her hometown in the state of Gujarat.
Jashodaben has been thrust into the public eye due to her husband's political career.
