Russian President Vladimir Putin's daughter Katerina Tikhonova has a partner named 'Zelensky', the same name as the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, according to a report.
According to Daily Mail, the 35-year-old daughter of Putin is no longer allowed to fly from Moscow to Munich to live with her partner due to the sanctions imposed against her after Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Katerina earlier would take regular flights from Russia to Munich to live with her lover accompanied by Russian secret service guards.
Her new partner, recognised as Igor Zelensky, with whom she has a two-year-old daughter, is a 52-year-old leading professional ballet dancer and top director who until recently headed the Bavarian State Ballet in Germany's Munich.
The new details come from an investigation carried by Russian independent news outlet called IStories and Germany's Der Spiegel.
The 35-year-old was previously married to Russia's youngest billionaire Kirill Shamalow, 40. The two ended their marriage in 2017 after she got into a relationship with the ballet dancer. Zelensky was previously married to choreographer Yana Serebryakova with whom he has two daughters and a son.
Katerina is the youngest of Putin's two daughters from his marriage to ex-Kremlin first lady Lyudmila Aleksandrovna Ocheretnaya.
In the past, Putin has openly raged about Russians living in the West, despite his own daughter making regular visits to Munich with full state support and security in order to spend time with her partner Zelensky.
