SHO brings dead man back to life while family was about to cremate him Updated: Dec 20, 2017 | 10:03 IST | Times Now Digital

New Delhi: A police officer on Monday saved a man who was about get cremated by his family members who thought him to be dead. 
Police received a call from an unknown person in Bara Hindu Rao area about a youth who was thought to be dead by his family members. 

SHO Sanjay Kumar was informed of the incident and when he reached the house with his team he found the mourning family. 
The family members were divulging all the details they could recall. They told the police that the youth went to his room at around 6 pm. 
The boy's father went to talk to him after 20 minutes and he found him hanging from the ceiling fan. 
The family got his body down and informed the police of the incident. 
SHO Kumar started the investigation and found out that the height of the room was too low for someone to die by hanging. The family got busy in arranging for the funeral. 
Kumar inspected the body and he figured out that the boy had a weak pulse just when the van arrived to take the body to the mortuary. 
He immediately took him to the hospital and gave him CPR on the way. Later, he was revived by the doctors. 
The doctors told the police that any delay in getting him to the hospital would have been dangerous.
The victim told the police that he tried to commit suicide because he was tired of his parents' scolding.
