This is the second time in as many weeks that the Russian President has lauded India. Last week Putin has heaped praises on PM Narendra Modi and described him as one of those who conducted an independent foreign policy and is a true patriot.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday heaped praises on Indians describing them “talented” and “driven” and noted that India has much potential without doubts and that it will achieve outstanding results in terms of development.
On the occasion of Russia’s Unity Day on Friday, the Russian president praised India’s potential. “India will achieve outstanding results in terms of its development – there are no doubts – and almost one-and-a-half billion people: now that’s potential,” he said. ..
