A recent report revealed that nearly 20,000 Indian students in Canada, unaccounted for by authorities, have largely taken up odd jobs to support themselves instead of pursuing education. Many students were deceived by fraudulent colleges, discovering upon arrival that the institutions were fake or lacked facilities. Others knowingly misused the student visa system to enter Canada for work, exploiting the country's policy of not requiring tuition fees to be paid upfront.
