Institute of Company Secretaries of India :-Bad habit dies hard:-Why ICSI opens special window for the payment of Annual Membership by its defaulting members from July 23 to July 31 2022.

 

The last date for the payment of Annual Membership by the members of the ICSI is always fixed to be June 30 but every year it has become dirty practice of the ICSI to extend the date for such meagre fee payment by its defaulting members. This time it has opened special window for the payment of Annual fee from July 23 to July 31 2022 as it is bent upon not to discipline its members rather then obliging them for political motives of its council's office bearers.

Now my questions to ICSI as its member are:

1.Why is it doing special service to its defaulting members and most of them are in CS practice only.?

2.Did ICSI get any written request from any of the defaulting member for granting relief of date in late payment of overdue fee.?

3.If a small amount of Annual membership fee can not be paid in time by its members then such members should better leave the profession of CS.

4.ICSI is making mockery of all the disciplined members who always pay the annual fee in time.

5.When there is procedure that membership can be renewed by filing an application then why it is not following its procedure.

6.How long ICSI Council office bearers shall continue to oblige its members just to win their votes and this time elections are going to be held soon.
