1. The Supreme Court's recent ruling that no automatic international treaty benefit, including a lower withholding tax, is available to foreign companies operating in India may lead to spate of tax demands.

3. Authority for advance rulings (AAR) of Telangana has ruled that distribution of gold coins, white goods and discount coupons given to incentivise sales would be treated as supply of goods and hence the GST would be imposed on them. 

4. SEBI has introduced guidelines for enhancing the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) of Qualified RTAs (QRTAs).

5. Reserve Bank Governor Shaktikanta Das said Rs 2,000 denomination notes are coming back and only Rs 10,000 crore worth of such notes are still with people.
